I am requesting a classroom carpet, pencils, markers, glue sticks, file organizer and a list of books for students to read. Our goal is to make sure that we can provide take-home supply bags to ensure that all students have writing utensils and materials in order to be successful in their home environment. Many students do not have paper, pencils, notebooks, glue sticks etc. It is vital that these students have adequate resources so that they can progress academically at home. In the same breath, it is important that my students have resources in the classroom in the event that they are able to come back to school. I want my classroom environment to feel comfortable and inviting, and I want students to feel safe and welcome while in the midst of these of these trying times.
