Every week students are expected to showcase their thinking independently alongside working collaboratively in groups and in pods. But not every student is always at their best when sitting at a desk and in a standard chair. The carpet and saucer chairs have helped extend my flexible seating arrangements as students are given opportunities to work on the rug or in the comfort of a fuzzy saucer chair. \r\n\r\nThese seating options have helped my students take ownership of their learning, their thinking, and of their comfort. My students and I will be forever grateful for this donation as it elevates the pedagogical priorities of student voice and choice.
