Not only did we get to experience the giddy of unboxing a book package from a former Gator Educator (Edugator) who believes in the power of reading, but we are also getting to experience what it's like to flip crisp pages in a new book!\r\n\r\nCurrently my class is halfway through Charlotte's Web. Our goal this year in 4th and 5th grade is learning and practicing the lost art of chapter summaries. We are learning what it means to synthesize and retell just the main ideas of each chapter, and how the titles of each can help us in this process.
