Digging in our designated \"dig boxes\" is a favorite activity for all grade levels on gardening days. The new gloves made it easier to find matching pairs and they love how they fit.\r\n\r\nWe've been making great use of the shovels, watering cans, and weeding tools to prep the raised beds for planting.\r\n\r\nLast, but certainly not least, the new garden arbor has been a great addition to the garden. About a dozen different kids learned how to read the instructions and use the screwdrivers to help put it together. Later, some kindergarten students helped wrap twine around the lower part to give something to our baby vining plant to grab onto as they start to grow.\r\n\r\nHaving amazing garden tools makes being in our school garden even more memorable for all of my students!
