I was genuinely surprised when I saw that my project had been fully funded on Monday. I truly did not expect it, and I cannot tell you how much it means to me and to my students.\r\n\r\nThe materials you provided will truly make a difference in our classroom every single day. From simple everyday tasks, such as using the highlighters and pens to annotate and complete our work, to having Band-Aids available for those little boo-boos, these supplies will help make our classroom run more smoothly. We now also have tissues in our classroom that should last us for quite a while, and we are so incredibly appreciative of that. These may seem like small necessities, but having them readily available makes such a big difference for our students and our classroom community.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, we now have many of the necessities we need to learn, grow, and succeed. You have helped make our classroom a little more comfortable, prepared, welcoming, and family-friendly. Most importantly, you have shown my students that there are people who believe in them and care about making sure they have what they need.\r\n\r\nMy students have noticed your generosity, too! They actually asked, \"Who has all this money to keep donating to our classroom? They are so nice!\" Their sweet reaction reminded me just how much your support means. They recognize what you have done for our classroom, and so do I.\r\n\r\nI also want to thank Exponential Scholars for all that you do for North Carolina teachers and for supporting and funding so many North Carolina DonorsChoose projects.
