From conducting research and creating powerful presentations to using AI tools to communicate effectively with potential investors, tablets are essential tools in their learning process. This semester, students in my AP African American Studies class explored the concept of \"Double Consciousness,\" which describes how a \"veil\" obstructs the full recognition of the humanity of marginalized groups. As part of their learning, they read Paul Laurence Dunbar's poem We Wear the Mask and engaged in a class discussion on its themes. Following this, they used technology to conduct further research and express their understanding by composing their own poems and designing masks.\r\n\r\nThe possibilities for integrating technology into the classroom are endless, and we are incredibly grateful for the resources that make this possible.
