Every December, I have tried to introduce my students to coding. It has been a challenge to have all students on campus experience hands-on coding with robots because of the shortage of robots. This year, with your support, I was able to have every single student try their hand at coding using Bee-Bot and Sphero Bolt! There's no way to capture their excitement and energy as they coded their robots. Your support means so much not just to me, but to all my students on campus. You have allowed me to bring new and exciting activities to my students. I have also been able to further support our campus teachers in re-enforcing their lessons.\r\n\r\nAll the supplies you helped provide have enriched my students' learning. With the toothpicks, though small, they helped provide the axles my students needed for the 3D cars they designed. As part of their classroom lessons on gravity, speed, friction, inclination, and push/pull, I had my fifth graders design a race car using a computer-aided design program. The toothpicks were a perfect fit for their cars! Needless to say, they were so excited to race their finished products!
