Various letter activities to practice letter recognition, sight words and spelling. Allowing student to engage in hands on activities increases the retention of various concepts. All of these materials can be use multiple ways. Student can build words with the different letter beads. Stamps provide an alternative way to practice letters, build words and sentences. Giving students open ended supplies allows them to develop their own ways of practicing various concepts. For young children it is imperative that they have the opportunity to manipulate materials to provide them with concrete opportunities to learn and explore.
