We received the table about a month into the school year. Students were thrilled to learn that it was made for them to write on. This table has made a massive difference in our intervention time this year! Students love being able to write on the table. It helps them engage in writing, reading, and math work. It also gives them fun things to do when we have a few free moments. \r\n\r\nDuring math groups, I demonstrate math concepts and strategies on the table. Then, students can practice the strategy with me on the table. We can play fluency games by having kids write their answers and hide them from each other until everyone has solved the problem. We can also play math games and keep the score right on the table. \r\n\r\nDuring reading groups, I can help students practice phonics skills. We work on breaking apart syllables in long words and learning syllable types. We work on letter sounds and vowel teams. We practice encoding to write words on the table. \r\n\r\nThank you for contributing to this project to help my students engage in their learning.","fullyFundedDate":1715714465165,"projectUrl":"project/write-on-intervention-table/8322909/","projectTitle":"Write-On Intervention Table","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Fletcher","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4579068_orig.jpg?crop=1317,1317,x368,y143&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1658104471351","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/shannon-riley"},{"teacherId":4579068,"projectId":8322946,"letterContent":"Thank you for contributing to this project! Each day, we pick one student from each group who has worked the hardest. The next day, that student gets to sit in the wobble chair.
