I am a kindergarten teacher at Fruitvale Elementary School. This fall, I will start my 13th year teaching. I love developing a firm foundation for our youngest students. An important part of that effort comes from inventive, engaging teaching strategies and materials. Each year, my goal is to develop an inviting classroom where all students feel welcome and cared for. I work hard to inspire a love for learning while helping students believe they can do anything with enough effort and dedication. DonorChoose has been a part of that effort for almost eight years! They have helped me give my students books, flexible seating, small group tables, supplies, and so much more. I truly appreciate all the support from people like you over the years!
