Your support has made such a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, and we are so excited to share the positive impact your donation has had.\r\n\r\nThe wobble chairs have been an instant hit! Students were thrilled to see them and immediately took to using them. They're helping students stay focused and comfortable while learning. The sensory boards have also been a favorite; students were fascinated by them and couldn't wait to explore their textures. These tools have already been incredibly helpful for emotional regulation and have become a fun, yet effective, incentive for good behavior.\r\n\r\nOne of the tools we use every day in our sessions is the feelings coin drop. Across all grade levels (1st-5th), this activity has helped students identify and understand their emotions. It has created a safe space for them to express their feelings and reflect on them with their peers, which is so important in their emotional development.\r\n\r\nWe are currently diving into lessons about how emotions are connected to the brain, specifically focusing on how the part of the brain that controls anger affects us. Through mindfulness, we are teaching our students how to stay in control of their emotions rather than letting them take over. The books you provided have been an excellent resource in supporting this lesson, and many of our students resonate with the messages they contain. It's wonderful to see them engage with the material and apply it to their own lives.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, your donation of snacks has been such a blessing for our students. For those who come in late and miss breakfast, the snacks have been a lifesaver, helping them to start their day with energy and ready to learn. It's such a simple yet significant way you've made a difference.\r\n\r\nLastly, the sandbox is on its way to being set up in a space where it can be well-supervised and cared for. We are still finalizing the perfect location for it, but I will be sure to keep you updated on where it will be placed.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your generosity, your kindness, and for believing in the power of education and emotional well-being. Your support has truly made a positive and lasting impact on our students and the entire classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1733253438462,"projectUrl":"project/the-calm-in-the-chaos-mindful-emotions/8678347/","projectTitle":"The Calm in the Chaos: Mindful Emotions Class","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rachael","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6836335_orig.png?crop=818,818,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1724102515506","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6836335"},{"teacherId":8946244,"projectId":8929225,"letterContent":"Just wanted to say thank you for providing refreshments and games for the classroom to help my students out.
