Our Dia De Los Muertos unit went great. Students were able to practice their writing, reading, and speaking skills while getting to take part in a unit that allowed them them to celebrate someone (or a pet) that has passed away that was important to them. \r\n\r\nThe funds provided allowed me to provide quality supplies for our class alter (see the attached pictures). This process not only gives students ownership of their work but also helps them gain valuable real-world skills in design, production, and customer service.
