Twice a week we divide into small groups and each group works to build using stem materials. Part of this activity is to develop skills in what the Alpine District calls \"the 6 C's.\" These are Character, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Citizenship, and Critical thinking. Building with STEM in small groups is an ideal opportunity to focus on these characteristics. \r\nMy students are excited each time I pull out the STEM materials. The new materials have added more variety to our STEM time. Thanks to Donors Choose and generous donations we now have a Bridge Building Set, magnetic blocks that mimic \"minecraft\", and other magnetic building toys. Each year I am able to add new STEM materials to my classroom, and this large donation has made such an impact.","fullyFundedDate":1755833836234,"projectUrl":"project/build-up-my-classroom-with-stem/9546474/","projectTitle":"Build Up My Classroom with STEM!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Harper","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8281906_orig.jpg?crop=1357,1357,x0,y180&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754504973626","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8281906"},{"teacherId":9568124,"projectId":8452940,"letterContent":"I opened the boxes in front of the students so they could see what was donated to them.
