One thing that was said was \"I like that I can help other students without them know I did.\" I personally think that is so powerful. The response from the students has been overwhelmingly positive. Students have been so excited to see all of the materials and to know that those options are available to them if they need them. \r\n\r\nWe ended up having to tweak the project a little bit and did individual take what you need kits in each 3rd-5th grade classroom. My kind kids club was responsible for separating, packaging and preparing each kit. Financially we discussed approximately how much each kit cost to make as well as how much the items cost so that we can maintain the proper upkeep of the kits. Members of the kind kids club will be responsible for the upkeep of the kits and ensuring that they are properly stocked at all times. \r\n\r\nBefore we switched to the kits we had stations in each of the back building bathrooms. But it became obvious quickly that the kits would be able to reach a wider group of students. Students have talked about how they were so thankful there was deodorant because they didn't realize they needed it. One kid got sick and was able to use the bath wipes to wash with. They said that was a blessing to feel clean!
