I teach in a title one school in a small town. Our school has 26 regular classrooms as well as an Exceptional Children's classroom, with two title one teachers and two EC resource teachers. We have about 575 students, over 75% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Between two EC resource teachers we have 35 students whom we serve who have IEPs (Individualized Education Plans). My students have specific learning disabilities, Autism, Other Health Impairments, and/or are Developmentally Delayed. They also have ADHD (attention deficient hyperactivity disorder) or sensory processing issues. They have difficulty paying attention and completing assignments because they are constantly moving around.
