Our classroom of Super Surfers needs flexible seating options. First Grade students will be able to choose a lap desk, carpet space, or wiggle seat. They will be able to explore which one will benefit their learning the most, while the dry erase clipboards will be used to work in whatever seating they prefer. Having seating options for the students allows them to listen to their bodies and find what works best for them, while allowing them to remain productive. Meeting the sensory and movement needs of our young learners can be essential in providing an engaging learning environment.

About my class
