Our students have been using the new resources to run a student-led coffee cart. They are working on functional skills that they are able to learn so that they can use them when they go into the workforce. We have also used the new resources to work on social skills. This has allowed students to be able to deliver orders to others. For example, our one student was delivering a coffee order to an adult and that adult stated they have never heard that student talk so much. This has allowed our students to grow and build relationships with other adults that they would have not have had the opportunity to interact with. \r\n\r\nOur students were so excited when they saw all the materials. They love the aprons and being able to work in the Ranger Cafe. Their excitement on their face when they saw the supplies and are able to go deliver drinks to others is unmatched. Our next steps are to continue to grow our coffee cart and lead students to designing new drinks. We will continue to work on social skills and inclusion in our school.
