The students have really enjoyed the games as we have had a lot of indoor recess the past few weeks.\r\n\r\nThe pencil sharpener is a big hit. It makes it so quick and easy to sharpen pencils and it's cordless so I can have it anywhere in the classroom. I use the laminating sheets on a regular basis to laminate task cards and other activities that will be used repeatedly by students. Just last month we had a football themed day and I laminated all the task cards so I can use them again next year.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have also been a big help in the classroom. On occasion I will let students listen to music with them. When I received all the items from this project I spent some time talking to my class about how they could earn tickets and class rewards. The students are always very excited when I get the tickets out and start passing them to students who are following directions and meeting classroom expectations. I have seen students hurry to get their supplies out so they can earn a ticket. \r\n\r\nMany students have redeemed their tickets for the items in the rewards bins. The stickers and candy are the top hits, probably because they cost the least amount of tickets. However some students are saving up so they can get a fun pen or lunch with the teacher and a friend!\r\n\r\nI am so grateful for all the donors who supported this project and helped me to offer a new classroom management system to my students.
