Your donation of essential classroom supplies—including a pencil sharpener, playground balls, Post-it Notes, markers, pencil lead, and other materials—helped my students start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThe beginning of sixth grade is a big transition for students. They are adjusting to a new school environment, new expectations, and increased independence. Having the supplies we need readily available has helped remove some of those everyday barriers and allowed students to focus their energy where it belongs: on learning, growing, and building relationships with their classmates.\r\n\r\nThe pencil sharpener and pencil lead may seem like small things, but they have made a big difference during our busy school day. Markers and Post-it Notes have given students materials to use during lessons, brainstorming, collaboration, and hands-on activities.
