Students take turns using them to relax while enjoying a good book. It has made students motivated to lounge around and read! Likewise, students have been improving their reading fluency with the use of the whisper phones. They have fun hearing themselves read without disrupting their neighbors. \r\nIn addition the the reading materials, the primary journals have been an essential part of teaching first grade students to write. Not only do the journals provide the much needed space at the top for an illustration, but they have the primary lines that are necessary for teaching proper letter formation. My students have come along way with writing thanks to these grade appropriate journals.\r\nThank you again for the love and generosity you continue to show me and my students year after year. Please know that all the materials you provide for my class are utilized.
