Our kids depend on us and the Donors Choose Community always comes through for them! Many of the items I requested helped with organization. Along the same lines, many of the items I purchased will support those students and allow them a developmentally appropriate entry point to their grade level literacy curriculum! The dinosaur and insect materials will provide several second graders with significant disabilities some access to grade level topics; the frog materials allow access for some third graders. And other materials, such as the counting activities, dot markers, and phonics materials support many of our students with significant disabilities across grade levels! (Special education teachers in our school have created a library of resources so that every student has access to anything we all have received, so all materials I ordered benefit many kids!)\r\n\r\nPersonally, I have never had a great pair of scissors, stapler, or tape dispenser so that made me very happy and keeps me from running around to find those things!!\r\n\r\nEverything I requested is in service of streamlining the day for students and creating routines that allow for independence. Students enjoy having new materials and activities each year! They were so happy to have new toys, learning materials, and storage stations.\r\n\r\nThank you again for the donations!
