Your generosity is already making a difference for my future students before they even walk through the classroom doors. In pre-K, many students arrive at school hungry or without a snack, and having these resources prepared ahead of time will help create a welcoming, caring, and supportive environment from the very beginning of the year.\r\n\r\nWhen students see that snacks are available in our classroom, it helps them feel safe, cared for, and ready to learn. Something as simple as having a snack can completely change a child's day by helping them stay focused, regulated, and engaged during lessons and activities. These snacks will support students during small groups, center time, testing days, and long afternoons when little bodies and minds need extra fuel. It also allows me to spend more time teaching and supporting students instead of worrying about whether a child is hungry.\r\n\r\nAs we begin the new school year, the snacks will continue helping build a positive classroom community where students know their needs matter. They will support learning by helping students maintain energy and focus throughout the day so they can fully participate in hands-on activities, early literacy lessons, math centers, and social-emotional learning opportunities. Your kindness is helping create a classroom where Students can learn, grow, and thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1778227241733,"projectUrl":"project/fueling-young-minds-with-healthy-snacks/10226792/","projectTitle":"Fueling Young Minds with Healthy Snacks","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Renison","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9123017"},{"teacherId":390043,"projectId":9739039,"letterContent":"Thank you for showing some of the littlest learners that you care! My students gathered around to see what it was and couldn't wait to try it. For many of them, this chair represents more than just a new classroom item — it's a safe way to calm their bodies, regulate emotions, and refocus when they're feeling overwhelmed. The first few turns brought huge smiles, laughter, and a visible sense of relief from students who struggle with sensory and emotional regulation.\r\n\r\nSince adding the chair to our classroom, I've seen amazing changes. Students who used to pace, cry, or hide when upset now have a tool that helps them reset in a healthy way. The ability to take a short sensory break has reduced outbursts and increased engagement during lessons. It's become a part of our daily routine — students know they can use it responsibly when they need help calming their minds or refocusing their energy.\r\n\r\nThis project has created a calmer, happier classroom where all students feel supported and understood. Your generosity made it possible for my students to learn self-awareness and coping skills they'll carry with them far beyond the classroom walls. Thank you for believing in my students and helping me build a space that meets their unique needs.","fullyFundedDate":1758636638709,"projectUrl":"project/spinning-toward-success-sensory-support/9658299/","projectTitle":"Spinning Toward Success: Sensory Support for Second & Third Graders","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hickey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8502545_orig.jpg?crop=813,813,x0,y119&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1655594996920","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrshickey5th"},{"teacherId":9176761,"projectId":9304589,"letterContent":"The switch from erasers to coins has been a total game changer!
