Centers are something we do daily. Centers allow students to work on skills independently, so they are able to move toward mastery of these skills. These materials will provide engaging activities for my students. With the fun graphics and visual appeal, they will be a fun way for my students to work on core topics we are working on in class. These materials were specifically chosen because they offer students the opportunity to complete the activities independently while having so much fun, they will forget they are actually working on reading skills! These centers are filled with games, manipulatives, books, and other instructional tools that will help with each student's learning needs. Centers also provide time for myself as a teacher to spend time with students individually and in small groups, helping them with reading and math content that are often modified and fit to accommodate different learning styles.
