My 2nd graders do a lot of small group instruction with me at teacher table. These chair I am requesting will allow them to move in the chair while also focusing on the task at hand. They love to come to small groups and I know they will be more excited. Since the pandemic we are 1:1 with chromebooks in my classroom. Many of my students do not have the money to buy headphones. This would help with all students being able to have a set of headphones. We use our chromebooks during our math and reading centers and everyone having headphones in the classroom would help with independent learning and less distractions.
