The headphones have allowed us to work with greater concentration on the i-Ready lessons and have been especially useful during exams, as each student can listen to instructions and activities without distractions. The math notebook, meanwhile, has been key to a better understanding of area and perimeter; students draw rectangles, solve problems step by step, and explain their strategies more clearly. In addition, the handwriting notebook has significantly helped them improve their handwriting, especially when developing paragraphs in different academic areas, from science to social studies.\r\n\r\nThe students' reaction upon receiving the materials was one of enthusiasm and surprise. Many wanted to try the headphones immediately and commented on how well they could hear the i-Ready lessons. With the notebooks, they were excited to have a different space to practice math and improve their handwriting; furthermore, the bags help them organize and take better care of their workspace and materials.\r\n\r\nAs next steps, we will continue working on a project where students will design models to apply what they have learned about area and perimeter. We will also continue strengthening their paragraph writing skills using the calligraphy notebook, ensuring that their ideas are presented clearly and in a well-organized manner. None of this would be possible without your support.
