My project is based on the learning of children with needs. Every child is capable of learning. Everyone learns in their own way. It is important to understand diversity, what is easy for one child to understand is not for another. That is why there are differentiated strategies.
With the materials that I want to obtain, I want to plan with teachers the necessary strategies to be able to help increase student learning. I also want to be able to provide students with better tools to achieve their goals. My highest priority is to be able to bring them to a reading level according to grade. Using activities that provoke interest and love for reading in students.
Reading is important for life. With reading, we can learn and understand. The greatest academic needs in special children are related to reading, writing, and mathematics. When we go to the statistics of the tests provided by the state, many children do not achieve the goal. My goal with this goes beyond statistics, it is to be able to ensure that these children can achieve their goals, real goals according to their needs, that they can achieve more every day until they reach their maximum learning. Being able to prepare them to overcome adversity.
