The students were so excited to see them, and the third graders were the first to use them for their projects. We recently learned about weather hazards, and they had to design a solution to stop grandma's garden from flooding. First grade students used their knowledge from our animal unit to design a headband that features animal ears that hear and do another job (such as help keep the animal cool, or have camouflage). And second grade students made coolers to keep an ice pop cold at a soccer game. \r\n\r\nThe shelves allow the students to store their projects in a safe and organized way, encouraging them to continue working on their designs and making improvements. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and makes a significant difference in our learning environment.
