I would love to provide my diverse students with an opportunity to expand their thinking and hopefully spark that "love for learning". Many of my students struggle in academic areas due to processing weaknesses, social skills, etc.. I want my students to believe in themselves. I want them to be inspired and look forward to coming to school. Also, these items will be used as tools to help some of my students relax and refocus their minds on a positive activity when/if they are feeling stressed or maybe just need a movement break. I hope to provide a space that will help in building their self-esteem and their belief in themselves. I firmly believe that I can teach students academics all I can, however, there is no guarantee that that information will be remembered. Yet, if there is one thing that I want them to remember, it is to believe in themselves like I believe in them! Thanks!
