Using the iPad and Apple Pencil, I am able to create live, interactive notes during instruction that allow students to see mathematical thinking develop step by step in real time. This has made lessons more dynamic and accessible, especially for students who benefit from visual modeling and guided problem-solving. Students are also able to write directly on the screen to explain their reasoning, annotate problems, and demonstrate multiple approaches to solving complex tasks.\r\n\r\nThe Apple TV has transformed the way students share and communicate their ideas with the class. By wirelessly projecting student work, we are able to turn everyday lessons into collaborative discussions where students compare strategies, justify solutions, and learn from one another's perspectives. This has helped build confidence among students who may not normally volunteer to participate, while also strengthening mathematical communication and critical thinking skills across the classroom.\r\n\r\nThese tools have helped create a more engaging and inclusive learning environment where student thinking is visible, valued, and celebrated. My students come from diverse backgrounds across our city and bring unique perspectives into the classroom each day. The technology funded through this project has allowed me to better support those voices while preparing students with the collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills they will need for college and future careers.","fullyFundedDate":1769177717559,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-students-with-interactive-mat/9783096/","projectTitle":"Empowering Students With Interactive Math Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Beavers","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10296694"},{"teacherId":597077,"projectId":9201545,"letterContent":"Students have been very appreciative of the new color printer.
