When the new art supplies arrived, students were so excited to see all of the materials they would get to use. Having a variety of quality supplies available has made it possible for me to plan meaningful art lessons where students can experiment, create, and express themselves in ways they don't always get to during the regular school day.\r\n\r\nWe are using these materials during our rotating art classes with students across multiple grade levels. Each group gets the chance to work on age-appropriate projects while learning new art techniques and, most importantly, having fun being creative. It has been wonderful to see students light up when it is their turn for art and to watch how proud they are of what they create. These lessons also give students a chance to practice skills like patience, perseverance, following directions, and being confident in their own ideas.\r\n\r\nThis is only the beginning! Throughout the school year, students will continue using these supplies for new projects and exploring different types of art and materials. I am excited to display their work throughout our school so they can share their creativity with classmates, staff, and families.
