They loved sharing their creatures with the class, explaining how they worked, and asking classmates for feedback.\r\n\r\nThe students were thrilled to have supplies they could use every day. Pencils and erasers let them try ideas and fix mistakes easily. Markers gave them a way to show their thinking clearly and make their work colorful. Having enough materials for everyone means they can keep exploring, creating, and learning without waiting for turns or running out of tools.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just provide pencils, markers, and erasers, it gave my students the tools to explore, create, and enjoy learning. The ink cartridges that have been provided to me through Donor's Choose has allowed me not to have to spend my own money on this classroom necessity.\r\nThe nameplates and the covers that I was able to purchase through Donor's Choose has helped my classroom to be a more welcoming place to my students. They are able to see their names clearly on their desks and use the helpful resources that are included on the nameplates. The protective covers have been doing well to help keep name plates entact and in good condition. Hopefully these will help student nameplates to last the entire school year. \r\nThe folders have enabled me to neatly provide General Education teachers copies of student IEP's. They were thoroughly engaged and the paper answer sheets made it so much easier since they didn't have to keep switching slides back and forth once they eliminated a suspect, location, and time when some candy was stolen in the game. \r\n\r\nWe also worked on some grammar review with a Halloween twist earlier this week but I forgot to get pictures of the students working on that. They were also very engaged during the activity and loved the coloring aspect of the directions. With our supply of paper safely put away for use when we need it, my students will be very engaged in their reviews and practices from now until (hopefully) the end of the school year. When the students saw the soccer goal they automatically started cheering and talking about the soccer games they will be able to have when we have our soccer unit. They started talking about the different teams that they would make with each other and it was great to see the students so ready for PE! When the students walked in and saw the ping pong net set up on the table and the paddles; some knew automatically what it was, but most did not know what ping pong was. \r\nIn the pictures above, I was having the students learn how to properly kick a soccer ball and they were kicking into the goal. I also had the students just practice one at a time how to hold the ping pong paddles and how to attempt to serve the ball over the net.
