Having flexible seating in my classroom has made such a difference. My students love being able to select what seat best suits them for class. \r\n\r\nThe extra wobble stools really help students that have trouble sitting still focus. I love the foot desk band. It really helps my one student with his bouncing. The chair bands help as well. \r\n\r\nI enjoy having a wobble stool to use at a student's desk. This keeps me from squatting down on my tippy toes. You have no idea how much they will be needed throughout the year. We are already using the tape rolls for notebooks. When they are out we will use the glue sticks. \r\n\r\nI am so excited to have 6 colors of highlighters. It makes highlighting different topics possible. I am so thankful for the mechanical pencils. Many students are like me and need to have a sharpened pencil at all times. This helps keep students writing and away from the pencil sharpener. I am so happy to have new dry erase markers as we use them daily for sentences dictation. The laminator is used all the time. However, I needed more decorations. I am a person that loves motivational posters. We try to teach kind humans and help empower a belief of goodness in each student. These posters allow me to help instill compassion. It is something we have to model to our students daily. I was not expecting some of the creations they made. Then students had to described how a sculptor is like a writer. Then we put our pencil to the paper and described what our pencil holder looked like. The result was many different pencil holder ideas. \r\n\r\nThis project also supply's me with new markers and colored pencils for the many projects we plan to do throughout the year. The students love it! It is so comfortable. The magnetic shelves make displaying the joke books easy. The students can quickly find a joke book to enjoy. The other books make great read alouds. Read alouds allows us to have classroom discussions about how we are similar to others.\r\n\r\nThe joke books with pictures are wonderful for English Language Learners.
