All of these items have been used throughout the classroom to make a difference in the learning environment for all students.\r\n\r\nThe anchor charts are displayed all over the classoom and if you can believe it, we even put them in our bathroom so when students are using the restroom, they can still be learning. We have small group areas inside our classoom and I have strategically displaced these charts in those areas so that I meet with small groups, and they can use them as resources for our work. We also combine them with some of our manipulatives, including multiplication and fractions to check work, especially when students check their peers' work. Finally, we have used them to create even larger anchor charts (done by the students ) that are displayed inside the classroom. \r\n\r\nThe chair we received has been used as a reward as well as Tier 3 work. Students like to sit in the chair, so when I get ready to call a student for a one-on-one, they are excited and want to sit in the chair. We also use it for the student of the week to sit in on the day they receive the award. We also display pictures of the students on the wall while in the chair. It is also really helpful when I walk throughout the classroom and need to work with a student for an extra minute or listen to \"turn and talk.\" Since it is mobile because it is light, I can carry it around the room and quickly sit with a student or pairs.\r\n\r\nThere has been much hard work done by our students and me; we have seen a dramatic rise in our scores since December for my classes. We have gone up 12 percentage points in testing. These items have made a difference in the excitement, learning environment, and scores for our classes.","fullyFundedDate":1767465301846,"projectUrl":"project/every-day-counts-a-foundation-in-math/9858313/","projectTitle":"Every Day Counts: A Foundation in Math","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Reyes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10331484"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_46320","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":488,"numTeachers":38,"percentFrplEligible":73,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":13,"percentWhite":5,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":77,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":81.7,"schoolId":46320,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Egypt Lake Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Egypt Lake Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/florida/hillsborough-county-public-school-district/egypt-lake-elementary-school/46320"}
