All of the supplies for the students, the books, the composition books, and reams of paper have already helped make our classroom a busy, active place.\r\n\r\nWe were able to use our paper and crayons to create Landscape pictures in our Land and Water Unit in Science. These kits have been instrumental in helping students develop the foundational skills they need to thrive academically and socially. The activities in the kits were selected to be engaging and enjoyable, creating an environment where children can develop confidence while working on their therapy goals. The first day that I brought in the fine motor kits to the classroom, the entire class surrounded the box, and every student asked to participate and complete an activity. The engagement has continued to this day, as the variety of activities has allowed students to consistently be engaged and eager to learn.\r\n\r\nFurthermore, your donation allowed us to increase awareness of the importance of occupational therapy (OT) within the classroom. By providing teachers and staff with additional resources, such as visual motor skill activities and OT reference materials, we have been able to create a more supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students, particularly those with OT needs. This initiative has not only supported students who are directly benefiting from occupational therapy but has also raised awareness among their peers and educators.","fullyFundedDate":1735657768238,"projectUrl":"project/handy-helpers-fine-motor-kits-to-boost/8634856/","projectTitle":"Handy Helpers: Fine Motor Kits to Boost Learning and Fun","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Alice","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9407096"},{"teacherId":9877312,"projectId":9011711,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation to our third-grade classroom!
