Many of my students struggle with ADHD. This disorder can make it extremely challenging for students to focus and complete work. With the option to sit in a bouncy seat, they will be able to get out some energy while they complete their school work. I have seen this work wonders in other classrooms and I would love to give the same opportunity to my students. Unfortunately, being in an urban district with limited resources, most of our books are extremely old and are either falling apart, or they are so outdated that the students have no interest in reading them. Imagine not having new and exciting books to read? I remember being young and being so excited to dive into an interesting new book. I would love to give my students a brand new selection of books so that they can fall in love with reading the same way I did.
