Their pride was priceless.\r\n\r\nThe color printer has allowed students to print illustrations, diagrams, character designs, and backgrounds to include in their stories. Watching them match their writing with visuals has boosted not only their creativity but also their motivation to revise, improve, and take ownership of their work. Students who were once hesitant writers are now excited to sit down, type, design, and publish their stories.\r\n\r\nNext Steps for Our Class\r\n\r\nOur next step is to move into the publishing stage of our Authors' Corner project. Students will continue typing, designing, and decorating their final drafts using the Cricut for lettering, embellishments, and custom details.
