The supplies for my classroom were very appreciated by both the teacher and the students! We have had an especially virulent Flu season here, and so the Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer are being utilized with amazing speed! The tissues as well! I know many educators purchase their own supplies, and I do as well, but when you have 100 students pass through your classroom every day, tissues and wipes go fast! \r\n\r\nThe lens wipes were a huge hit, and I was able to provide every student with a small bottle of hand sanitizer and a microfiber wipe to keep their iPads clean and germ-free.\r\n\r\nI am an immunocompromised person, as a result of cancer treatments and surgeries, so for me, having the means to sterilize the room without it smelling like a hospital is really nice. There is no other way to say it. Many students bought wireless ones themselves, but this was not an option for a great many of our economically disadvantaged population. The English department received a grant to purchase classroom sets of wired keyboards. This worked well until the student iPads were updated this year.\r\n\r\nAs you know, technology is always changing, and not only did our plug-and-play keyboards no longer work, but the Bluetooth keyboards the students had were not connecting properly. I knew we had to do something. That is where Donors Choose came into play. I am so grateful for my classroom set of wired USB-C keyboards! The new pencils have also been a huge hit. Students are in constant need of pencils.
