The couch has been the center of our welcoming environment for all. It's a meeting place for students at the beginning of each class period, it is where students work as a group, it is a place where students from last year have come to encounter their friends and reminisce of their 7th grade year. \r\n\r\nThe couch is surrounded by lights and clouds overheard that cover our lights. Students enjoy the dimmed view of our lights. They often sit on the plush rug with two bean bags to collaborate. They love to use their whiteboard to review and challenge each others knowledge in a safe group environment.
