I have been able to take students to my new classroom library where, thanks to your donations, they can find high-interest books to read at their reading level. Many students are working their way through the books that were donated through Donor's Choose.\r\n\r\nStudents were excited to see books at their reading level that are also high-interest to high school students. One student asked for a mystery, and I was able to find a pile of mystery books that had been ordered, and not only did she choose one, but another student was drawn to one of them as well. Many of these students in the past would have chosen to \"read\" books that are above their reading level, so they would just pretend to read, because they didn't want to choose from a selection of \"babyish\" books for younger kids. Having the selection that I ordered from Donor's Choose has completely changed their attitudes towards reading this year and has made such a difference in the classes I teach!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for donating to our classroom this year.","fullyFundedDate":1775606820124,"projectUrl":"project/books-for-language-learners/9956843/","projectTitle":"Books for Language Learners!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Waterloo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4486765_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1498250632137","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4486765"},{"teacherId":9118251,"projectId":9955767,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donation.
