My students typically come into my class years behind in reading. The number one thing they need to do to improve is READ everyday, but often times by middle school they become discouraged. My goal is to have a large classroom library full of high-interest books that are at my students´ reading levels to help them create a joy for reading! I want every kid to find a book that they will enjoy. Students' get at least 20 minutes of choice reading time in my class everyday, and I´m hoping they will be excited coming into a classroom of new books next year.
