My students were very impressed with the equipment we received. We were able to install 2 bird feeders and a bird bath to our school, which attracted lots of wild birds to our campus. Many of the students have never seen some of these birds, or knew that they were in our area. Birds such and Cardinals, Bluejays, House Finches and so much more\r\nMany of the students have never used binoculars before, and definitely not to observe wildlife. Being able to participate in such activities really broadened their horizon. Throughout the year, I had many students competing to go refill the bird feeders. I even used the opportunity to my advantage, since the equipment stayed in my room. I would use the binoculars as an incentive in all of my classes. \"No one can touch the binoculars, unless you are finished with all your work,\" I would probably say. Since the bird feeders were outside my classroom windows, students could grab a pair of noculars and observe the birds without going outside. \r\nAlthough I no longer teach at that school, I am very grateful for the experience and I'm sure another instructor took over the nature club.","fullyFundedDate":1728130688250,"projectUrl":"project/nature-club-because-high-schoolers-like/8832379/","projectTitle":"Nature Club!
