These resources are used thoughtfully throughout the day to support students' engagement, participation, and ability to stay focused during instruction. One meaningful moment occurred during a small-group activity when a student worked through a challenging task and proudly earned a piece of candy for his effort—his smile and confidence said it all.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the snacks, they were excited and relieved. Several students immediately asked if the snacks were \"for everyone,\" and knowing they were available helped create a sense of comfort and belonging in our classroom. For some students, simply knowing food is accessible allows them to focus on learning rather than worrying about hunger.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped us create a more equitable classroom environment where all students' needs are acknowledged and met. Moving forward, we will continue using snacks to support students who cannot afford them and candy as positive reinforcement to encourage perseverance, task completion, and independence. These tools help our students build confidence and experience success in meaningful ways.
