We have been examining a variety of Christmas books this year using the document camera. Various authors employ different crafts that make them unique. By displaying the text underneath the document camera, all of the students are able to see the text closely and make examinations simultaneously. We do not have to have an independent copy of the book for each student due to the ability to project the book on the Promethean board.\r\n The little side table is perfect for the camera and the books. Students were excited during the Christmas season to learn which book I would display daily. This daily exploration helped us to glean many takeaways about the authors. Now, students are better equipped with ideas for their own writing. \r\n Guided notes are also easier for students to take with the aide of the document camera. Middle school students need to take notes from time-to-time and this camera has ensured that all can see the notes properly. All in all, the students have benefited greatly from the addition of the document camera, side table, and new books.
