Many of my students of color will enjoy meeting Amari and the fantasy world she is in. The girls in my room will love watching Amari become confident in herself as she learns to navigate using magic. \r\n\r\nMany reluctant readers will enjoy reading about Hiccup, Toothless, and the rest of the dragon riders adventures. It's been wonderful to see them engage with the material in such a hands-on and competitive way.\r\n\r\nThe games have been a huge help in solidifying their understanding of multiplication, division, and prime numbers. For a recent lesson, we focused on using the Prime Climb board to find different ways to get to a specific number, which really helped them visualize number relationships.
