The average shelf life for most library books is between 5-7 years. High poverty schools not qualifying for Title I monies, leaves little to none for the replenishing and replacing of old and worn out titles and copies as well as keeping current titles aligned with the standards required for students to maintain the competitiveness in today's academic world. Our library is in need of current Biographies, Science, Native Americans, Pet and animals, World History, Low level chapter books to name a few areas. Please consider donating to East Avenue Elementary School Library.
