Because of your generosity, my Pre-K students (ages 3–5) were able to explore science and math concepts in a joyful, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate way.\r\nThe materials were thoughtfully integrated into our classroom through sensory bins and the light table accessories. Students used the pluffle materials to scoop, pour, sort, and explore, strengthening fine-motor skills while also building early math concepts such as counting, comparing, and classifying. At the light table, children investigated colors, textures, and cause-and-effect as they experimented with light and shadow, sparking curiosity and scientific thinking.\r\nThese hands-on experiences encouraged students to ask questions, make predictions, and collaborate with peers. Many children who are typically hesitant to participate were especially engaged, showing increased confidence and excitement as they explored independently and alongside their classmates. The open-ended nature of the materials allowed every child to participate at their own level, supporting diverse learning needs and promoting inclusion.\r\nBecause of you, my students are learning that science and math are fun, accessible, and part of their everyday world. Your support helped lay a strong foundation for curiosity, problem-solving, and a lifelong love of learning. This project was one of my more expensive ones due to the cost of this particular sensory table. I selected the Jonti-Craft See-Thru Sensory Table because of its durability and size. It is large enough to allow four of my students to utilize it at once. They have really enjoyed this added experience to our science and discovery center in our classroom. We added water and then plastic fishes with numbers on it. The students enjoy not only scooping and pouring the water but also using the fishing poles to \"fish\" for different numbered fish.\r\n It snowed a couple weeks ago here in New Jersey.
