From the moment students saw the new materials, their excitement was immediate. The LEGO Icons PAC-MAN Arcade set quickly became a classroom favorite, sparking conversations about technology, engineering, design, and the evolution of video games. Students were fascinated by how a classic piece of gaming history could be recreated through building and problem-solving. The new computer systems and networking posters have also become valuable teaching tools, helping students visualize complex concepts and make connections during lessons. The dry erase wall space has encouraged collaboration, allowing students to brainstorm ideas, sketch flowcharts, and work through coding challenges together.\r\n\r\nOne memorable classroom project involved students creating network diagrams and troubleshooting scenarios inspired by the concepts displayed on our new STEM posters. Working in teams, students used the whiteboard wall to map out solutions and explain their thinking to classmates. The Brother label maker has helped us organize equipment, storage areas, and classroom resources, creating a more professional and efficient learning environment. The high-quality drawing paper has been used for planning app designs, creating technology-themed infographics, and developing storyboards for digital projects.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, students will continue using these resources as they explore computer systems, networking, coding, and digital design. The posters and collaborative whiteboard space will support upcoming lessons on internet infrastructure and cybersecurity, while the drawing paper will be used for project planning and design thinking activities. The PAC-MAN arcade model will continue serving as a conversation starter about innovation, technology history, and careers in computer science.
