Many of these materials are going to be used in order to boost student engagement in the classroom. The expo boards make it easier for students to engage in teacher led questioning in a low stakes manner. This means they can attempt an answer without the risk of feeling embarrassed or put on the spot. Having an additional larger, portable expo board will allow me to work small groups in meaningful ways. Every item on my list is intended to increase student engagement in the classroom and deliver creative, student-centered lessons.
