The class set of headphones has allowed my students to participate in digital lessons, language activities, assessments, and intervention programs with fewer distractions. I have noticed that students are able to concentrate better and work at their own pace, which has improved participation and confidence, especially for learners who benefit from audio support and differentiated instruction. The headphones have also helped reduce classroom noise and made it possible for multiple learning activities to take place simultaneously in a more organized and productive environment.\r\n\r\nThe addition of an iPad for instructional monitoring has greatly improved my ability to support students throughout the classroom. By using the iPad while walking around, I can monitor student progress in real time without being confined to my desk or a single computer station. This mobility allows me to provide immediate feedback, quickly assist struggling students, and interact more meaningfully with students during independent and small-group work. Overall, this technology has helped me create a more interactive and student-centered classroom that better meets the diverse learning needs of my students.","fullyFundedDate":1761324213596,"projectUrl":"project/hear-see-succeed-technology-tools-for/9690268/","projectTitle":"Hear, See, Succeed: Technology Tools for Engaged Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cruz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9744318"},{"teacherId":10332693,"projectId":9863675,"letterContent":"Because of your generosity, our 5th grade science classroom has been transformed into more than just a place to learn — it's now a thriving classroom economy where students are growing academically, socially, and personally.\r\n\r\nThe classroom economy and class store supplies you helped fund have created a powerful real-world learning experience for my students. They are not only learning science concepts, but also practicing responsibility, financial literacy, goal setting, and decision-making. Through earning classroom currency, managing their \"paychecks,\" and budgeting for store purchases, students are developing life skills that will benefit them far beyond elementary school.\r\n\r\nFor many of my students, this is their first experience understanding how earning, saving, and spending work. The excitement on \"store day\" is incredible — but even more meaningful is watching them practice patience, teamwork, and accountability throughout the process. They are motivated to complete assignments, show positive behavior, and take ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nYour support has helped build confidence and independence in my students. It has also created a positive classroom culture where hard work is celebrated and responsibility is rewarded.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our classroom and investing in experiences that make learning engaging and meaningful. As the materials were distributed, students expressed visible excitement—smiling, talking enthusiastically with their peers, and eagerly examining each item. Many students commented on the variety of colors and tools, sharing ideas about how they planned to decorate and organize their notebooks. This sense of ownership encouraged students to take greater pride in their work and view their notebooks not just as assignments, but as personal learning tools they were excited to use.\r\n\r\nThe availability of these materials also positively influenced classroom participation and creativity. Students became more focused and invested during lessons, asking thoughtful questions and demonstrating a stronger willingness to complete activities. Several students who are typically hesitant to participate showed increased confidence as they used the materials to express their understanding through drawings, diagrams, and creative layouts. Overall, receiving the art materials fostered a more engaging, inclusive, and enthusiastic learning environment, supporting both academic growth and creative expression.","fullyFundedDate":1757683108011,"projectUrl":"project/math-in-action-interactive-notebooks-fo/9690160/","projectTitle":"Math in Action: Interactive Notebooks for Brighter Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cruz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9744318"},{"teacherId":1026019,"projectId":9710303,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of the games! The students of Dunbar have loved playing games together here in the library. My Morning Show crew visits the library each day during their lunch time, sometimes also bringing friends from class with them. Now that we have the travel Scrabble games, they are able to start a game and keep it in the back room to finish on another visit. The Scrabble dictionaries have been a huge help, too, making them much more independent while they play. I love listening to them looking up words and reading to each other out of the Scrabble dictionaries.\r\nWe have also gotten so much enjoyment from the Uno and Spot It! games.
