Since the printer arrived, it has helped me print out worksheets for our lessons and even coloring sheets for students who finish their work early. Every one is having a great time using their free time to be creative and being more regulated. They are using their common interests in superhero, cartoon characters to build better connections with peers.\r\n\r\nThe emotional mats have been a great resource in teaching the kids how they can identify how a person feels just by looking at their facial emotions. I have been teaching them some helpful tips in managing their emotions and how they can stay regulated even when the environment is overstimulating.\r\n\r\nThe cleaning materials has helped the kids learn about hygiene and the importance of keeping our environment clean to prevent common sickness such as cough and colds.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you all so much for helping me accomplish this project.","fullyFundedDate":1776721543889,"projectUrl":"project/every-page-every-pencil-every-emotion/10024927/","projectTitle":"Every Page, Every Pencil, Every Emotion Matters","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Aballe","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10405059"},{"teacherId":10172623,"projectId":9582619,"letterContent":"Myself and my students would like to take the time to just say thank you. As educators we want our children to come to school ready to learn. Not having to worry about having a pencil, a school folder, a Kleenex for their nose, or notebook to write in. Because of you, our learners now have a place where they can regulate, refocus, and engage in ways that honor their needs and build on their strengths.\r\n\r\nMy students are already benefiting in remarkable ways. They love the swing, which has significantly improved their regulation and joint attention — foundational skills for communication. The crash pad has become a safe outlet for students who need to exert energy, and the sensory lamp offers calming lighting and sound options that help create a peaceful environment.\r\n\r\nBefore this room existed, students often had no choice but to sit in the hallway to calm down, a space that is loud, bright, and overstimulating. Recently, an autistic student who was struggling at the start of the day was able to come into the new room instead of remaining in the hallway during state testing. He was able to calm down almost immediately in a way that truly met his needs. Moments like this show just how transformative this space is.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has done more than furnish a room — it has affirmed our students' rightful place in the school by acknowledging their needs and meeting them where they are. We are deeply grateful for your partnership in creating a space that supports their growth, dignity, and well‑being.","fullyFundedDate":1756174539201,"projectUrl":"project/strength-through-sensory-support/9595283/","projectTitle":"Strength through Sensory Support","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Franchuk","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10176967"},{"teacherId":9798084,"projectId":9108629,"letterContent":"I wanted to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you for your contribution to our project.
